As a new client of our Veterinary Hospital in Kitchener, ON, you can expect our full attention to your pets’ needs.
Please note: masks are no longer mandatory for all visitors. Clients who are sick or are not feeling well should wear a mask for the duration of their appointment as a protective measure for staff members who are immune compromised.
We want your visit to Huron East to be the best veterinary experience you ever had! We’re all animal lovers here and we work hard to create a warm, inviting and comfortable environment for you and your pet.
We ask that all dogs be presented on a secure leash, and all cats and rodents (and small dogs, if you wish) be presented in a secure carrier. This is crucial for the safety of pets, staff, and other clients. If your pet is highly-excitable or nervous, please contact us upon arrival and we’ll accommodate you and your pet with easy access to the reception area and exam room.
One of our lovely veterinarians will then meet you and your pet and spend some time talking with you to address your concerns, recommend additional diagnostic testing if needed, and create your pet’s individual care plan.
If additional testing is needed, Huron East Animal Hospital is a modern facility with state of the art diagnostic equipment and an in-house laboratory, so most tests can be performed here.
If you require food or medications for your pet, please call us in advance to ensure we’re able to fulfill your request, or visit our online store to arrange free shipping of your pet’s favourite foods directly to your home for orders over $75.
